THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN...

Considering the assaults against us these days, we should be aware that the 'war against Christianity' has been in full bloom for eons...I follow the history of Rome as a comparison to US, but that's another story...the emperor Nero fiddled, well actually strummed on a lyre, while half or more of Rome burned to the ground...Nero somehow determined the cause of the fire was arson...well boys & girls, guess who he blamed for the arson...here's a hint...it was a small group of people who were rapidly becoming a thorn in his side because they worshiped only one God and that god was not himself...well, this small group of people quickly became even smaller in the most horrific of ways....bottom line = some heads of state strum the lyre during a national crisis and some heads of state play golf during a crisis...ooops, sorry, I strayed off the subject...that small group of people were of course, the early Christians...big difference today...we are not going off to hide in caves. — readingThe Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES...

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that back in our youth, our mantra was 'question authority', and, today so many of those folks have SOLD OUT and have adopted the mantra of 'question those who question authority' and in some cases even invite those who question authority to leave their own country'?
