The idea of a tolerant liberal is a myth. Their idea of
toleration is stop believing the operating assumptions of limited government,
moral absolutes, rational sexual behavior, private property, decentralized
civil government, freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, the Constitution
and we’ll tolerate
you.
And if you don’t do what we demand
of you, we’ll shut down your business, take you to court, boycott you, keep you
from working in this town again, and ridicule you in the press. If you’re
really stubborn, we’ll pray to our inner god and call down your destruction.
