ATTENTION "BLAMERS",THIS TELLS THE WHOLE STORY

The day the democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, it was actually January 3rd 2007, the day democrats took over the House of Representatives AND the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress.
The Democrat Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.
For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this:
January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress.
At the time:
The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
The Unemployment rate was 4.6%

Remember the day...
January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee.
The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?
BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!
Unemployment... to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES!
Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy.
And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA
And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie?
OBAMA and the Democrat Congress, So when someone tries to blame Bush.. REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007.... THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!"
Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party. Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 &2011.
In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush belatedly got tough on spending increases.
For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budgets.
And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.
If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.
If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.

Obama Spends $8.3 Billion to Hide Medicare Cuts
The Obama administration is spending $8.3 billion to hide a key provision of Obamacare — deep cuts in Medicare Advantage — until after the November election.
Medicare Advantage offers seniors the option of choosing private insurance companies as an alternative to the government-run Medicare insurance program. So far 12 million seniors have enrolled in the program.
But President Obama has attacked the program, stating in a 2009 speech that it offers “unwarranted subsidies” that “do everything to pad [insurance companies’] profits and nothing to improve your care.”
So it came as no surprise when Obama’s healthcare reform plan sliced $145 billion from Medicare Advantage over the next 10 years. Medicare’s own actuary reported that Obamacare would force more than 7 million seniors off their private plans and back into traditional Medicare as insurers flee the market, according to Investor’s Business Daily (IBD).
To hide the cuts from seniors who would face losing Medicare Advantage just before the November election, the administration pumped $8.3 billion back into the program through “bonuses” to Medicare Advantage plans.
Those “bonuses” will make up for more than 70 percent of Obamacare’s scheduled Medicare Advantage cuts, and keep the program running through the election.
The plan is so “transparently political” that the Government Accountability Office has urged the Health and Human Services Department to cancel it altogether, IBD reported, adding: “Canceling is just the beginning.
“The bigger question lawmakers must answer is this: Is it legal for a Cabinet agency to spend $8.3 billion in taxpayer money simply to help Obama get re-elected?”

ANOTHER FAR LEFT NERVE IS EXPOSED...WELL DONE BISHOP JENKY
Barry Lynn, the anti-Christian reverend and director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, filed a complaint today with the IRS against the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peoria, Illinois. Lynn claims the diocese broke federal rules when the bishop spoke out against Barack Obama's unconstitutional mandate that forces Catholic institutions to pay for birth control for employees when it goes against church doctrine.
Bishop Jenky spoke out recently against Obama's clear violation of America's first amendment rights.
A prominent advocate of church-state separation filed a formal complaint with the Internal Revenue Service on Thursday, accusing the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peoria, Ill., of violating federal law by intervening in a political campaign.
The Rev. Barry Lynn, executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, alleges that a fiery homily delivered by Peoria Bishop Daniel Jenky last Sunday effectively urged Catholics to vote against President Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election.
Jenky's homily criticized policies proposed by the Obama administration that would require all employers, including religious groups, to provide free birth control coverage in their health care plans. The bishop included Obama's policies in a litany of government challenges the Catholic Church has overcome in previous centuries, including Hitler and Stalin's campaigns.
"Hitler and Stalin, at their better moments, would just barely tolerate some churches remaining open, but would not tolerate any competition with the state in education, social services and health care," Jenky said. "In clear violation of our First Amendment rights, Barack Obama - with his radical, pro-abortion and extreme secularist agenda - now seems intent on following a similar path." Lynn has said church-affiliated agencies that operate on taxpayer dollars should follow public policy guidelines or only collect money from parishioners.
But remarks delivered later in the homily prompted Lynn's complaint to the IRS. "This fall, every practicing Catholic must vote, and must vote their Catholic consciences, or by the following fall our Catholic schools, our Catholic hospitals, our Catholic Newman Centers, all our public ministries - only excepting our church buildings - could easily be shut down," Jenky said.
IMO:The investigation should be quick and will reaffirm the tax-exempt status.
To have constituted a violation of 501(c)(3) status on politicking grounds, what would have had to happen is for the bishop to say: Vote Republican in the 2012 elections, or vote for a specific candidate (i.e., an endorsement of a party OR a candidate by name)---but that wasn't said.
Further, stuff like this should require that cause be shown before investigating, otherwise, folks might start thinking that the IRS is a weapon for fedzilla.

IT'S ALL ABOUT ME, SO JUST MAKE ME HAPPY
Our Founding Fathers may have been the most thoughtful men in human history. To create a new government with the many checks and balances that are in place is the envy of the entire world. If there is any doubt of how great this country truly is, all you have to do is just look at all the people trying to get in, legally and illegally. Why are people not beating down the doors to get into Venezuela, Cuba, China or North Korea? We as a country must be doing something right. However, how long are we going to be different from those countries?
The Internet is a wonderful thing; on it, you can find views from both sides of the aisle. Not too long ago, I had the pleasure of watching a couple of videos that had an interview with people that came here from socialist countries, on the video they were describing what life was like living under socialism. At the end of each video, they all seem to say the same thing. America is heading down the same path that the socialist countries they left once went down. I must admit, a chill went down my spine when I heard them describing the similarities. The left in this country shrug these people off as idiots who don’t know what they are talking about.
They say experience is the best teacher, so why are we not learning from the very people that lived through socialism? We all know the old saying, those who do not learn from history, are doomed to repeat it. So why are we not learning? The writing is on the wall, but most of America refuses to see it. America seems to be closing its eyes to the reality of socialism creeping its way into our society. The people that were speaking on those videos, spoke of similarities of what is coming, they are; Removal of God from society, Taking over the car companies, as well as the banks, Socialized medicine and the Government is the answer to everything. Sound familiar? However, these are the very things that the people on the videos have lived through in the countries they left. They see the same things happening here, to me, that's scary.
Who’s to blame? Well, look in the mirror, because it is we the people. Our founding fathers set this country up to be a self-governing nation, of the people, by the people, for the people. Lincoln said those words in his Gettysburg Address, but things sure have changed. This country has been changing for a while, but the Obama administration is the straw that broke the camel’s back.
We have a generation of people who do not even know what the Constitution is; they were raised to believe in an entitlement society, where they think they are entitled to everything, instead of going out and working for it. They all seem to say screw the Constitution, just make me happy. Moreover, this president seems to want to oblige them. This country is learning the hard way that liberal views and policies just do not work. We are now paying the price for the liberal policies of the past. and the present Yes, we have a constitution, but what good is it if we ignore it.

The latest on the Democrat's manufactured "Republican War on Women"
President Obama says women should be allowed membership to the Augusta golf course. Most folks don't have a problem with admitting women to Augusta. But, is that all the Democrat party has? What about the growing number of women (or their husbands) who can't find jobs under this administration which continues to kill jobs through its policies? I doubt membership to Augusta golf course, which is highly exclusive even to men, is a major priority for America's women.

A record number of Americans NOT in the workforce
Amid disappointing unemployment numbers that fell 80,000 jobs short of projections, another number is raising eyebrows: the number of Americans not in the labor force has hit a record high 87,897,000.
This figure explains why overall unemployment dropped from 8.3% to 8.2%, as the Department of Labor's unemployment figure does not include people who have given up hope and are not actively seeking employment.
When the number of individuals who have stopped looking for a job and/or who are working part-time but desire full-time employment is included--a figure known as the "underemployment rate"--real unemployment stands at 19.1%.
